I am a professional counsellor and an accredited psychotherapist based in Monkstown, Co Dublin and I have over 14 years experience of working with clients in a professional counselling and psychotherapy setting. I have worked on a wide range of issues with individuals, male and female, of all ages coming from many different cultures and backgrounds. I have undertaken extensive self development/personal therapy work. The minimum requirement is 100 hours of personal therapy during training. However, I have completed over 12 years of personal therapy which has  given me a greater understanding of myself  and I  bring this experience into my work in a way that  benefits my clients.

My approach is very down to earth and integrative which means that I can draw on different models of therapy and use whichever one or combination is best suited to the person.

One of my many goals as a professional psychotherapist is to help people work through their issues and the problems that bring them into therapy.  I want to help people develop a better understanding of themselves and to have better insight into their thoughts, emotions and feelings. This will result in the person developing an understanding as to why they behave, act or react in a certain way. The person will then be in a position to make a real choice and informed decisions.
